When do the doors open for a show? The Olympic Theatre Arts Center doors open 60 minutes prior to show time for all events except movies. Main Stage Theatre doors open approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain.   Come early and enjoy complimentary coffee or tea, or you may purchase concessions and wine.

 

When can I pick up my Will Call tickets? The Will Call window opens 60 minutes prior to each show. Be sure to bring photo ID and the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets, as any or all of these may be required for ticket pick up. Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to curtain to claim your tickets.

 

How long are the performances? The length of performances varies; approximate running times of our Main Stage plays (including intermission) is usually 120 - 150 minutes. Please note that the times are an estimate provided by the production, based upon the best information available in advance of the performance and are subject to change. Please feel free to call our business office at 360-683-7326, Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm for more information.

 

What time should I arrive for a performance? Friday and Saturday evening performances begin promptly at 7:30pm. Sunday matinee performances begin promptly at 2:00pm. The doors to the Olympic Theatre Arts Center will open 60 minutes prior to curtain, and the doors to the Main Stage Theatre will open approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. As a courtesy to other patrons and to ensure you can be seated before curtain time, please arrive at least 15 minutes before curtain.   Come early and enjoy complimentary coffee or tea, or you may purchase concessions and wine.

 

Is there parking nearby?  For performances OTA offers 53 parking spaces and 3 handicapped parking spaces. Nearby street parking is also available. Additionally, there is a no parking passenger/drop off zone directly in front of the theatre on N. Sequim Avenue with a 3 minute limit.

What if I arrive late for a performance? You will be held in the lobby until an appropriate time to be seated by the House Manager. Of course, by then everyone in the theater will know you were late.

If a patron leaves the theatre during a performance, they will not be seated again until an appropriate break in the performance at the discretion of the House Manager.

 

Is there bar service at the OTA? What about concessions? Wine and concessions are available for purchase for one hour prior to curtain and during intermission. Please note that all food and wine must be consumed in the Gathering Hall. You may bring only bottled water into the Main Stage Theatre. Currently we accept cash only for the purchase of wine and concessions.

 

Can I take photos or make recordings during the performance? The taking of photographs and the use of any audio or video recording during the performance is strictly forbidden.  For the safety of the performers and to ensure compliance with our contractual arrangements (copyrights), all cameras and picture phones should be turned off and placed in a pocket or purse while in the theatre. Violators are subject to confiscation of film, tape, disc, cards, etc., ejection from the theatre, and financial damages
 
Do you have a smoking area designated? Smoking is allowed only outside the theatre at least 25 feet away.
